The Store person’s key job responsibility as part of the Warehouse team is to receive goods, receipt inventory into the warehouse management system, pick orders, palletisation of finished product and supply inventory to the relevant production departments in a timely manner. The store person is also responsible for the shipping of finished goods to the third party logistics warehouse. A store person performing any of these roles must ensure all goods meet required quality standards and follow all company processes/ procedures.
**What are we looking for?**:
- Educated to GCSE level or above
- Some form of experience working in an operational environment.
- Exposure to a warehousing environment is desirable but not required.
- Comfortable working in a role where high standards of health, safety and hygiene must be managed at all times.
**What will be your key responsibilities?**:
- Carry out Quality inspection Checks for all incoming and outgoing goods.
- Unload and load goods for transportation as required
- Receipt of inventory into SAP for warehouse management
- Putaway inventory using the RF system
- Pick and supply orders using RF to supply the production departments
- Palletisation of finished product ready for shipping
- Adhere to cycle count program and report inventory variances immediately to ensure correct stock levels are maintained at all times.
- Liaise with the procurement and planning departments as required
- Will process required transactions using SAP including but not limited to backflushing of finished goods, transferring inventory from 3PL, receipting goods etc.
- Maintain GMP and Hygiene Standards. This includes but not limited to Department Cleaning Schedules. “Clean as we go”. Personal GMP Requirements.
- Attend Safety, Quality and Department meetings and toolbox talks as required.
- Participate in and actively support efficiency improvement process such as Lean and TPM.
- Report equipment failure and any damage in Department.
- Actively participate in the engagement improvement process.
- Other reasonable duties as required.
