**The Position**

We are looking for multiple skilled and well-experienced **Electronics Technician** to join the team, based in **Western Australia**.

The business is a busy hub and as a consequence a team-player attitude will be a mandatory requirement.

**Duties and Responsibilities **include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Test and inspection of all Ampac Pcbs and Sub-assemblies;
- Ability to carry out fault-finding and perform repairs, if necessary;
- Ability to repair test jigs for Ampac Pcbs;
- Reporting and documenting of system and design faults;
- Set up and run production batches on a Printed Circuit Board (SMT);
- Ensure that manufactured printed circuit boards are QA compliant
- Maintain Inventory Accuracy of components;
- Work with Production Engineering/Supply Chain on New Product Introduction.

**Competency - **To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

- Ability to use hand tools - electric screwdrivers, hand and electric-crimpers, etc;
- Ability to read technical drawings;
- Ability to read values of electronic components
- Ability to follow and carry out quality control inspection:

- Effective interpersonal & communication skills;
- Able to work autonomously and set priorities;
- Ability to solder;
- Shall advice on non-conformances and assist with the corrective and preventive actions as defined;
- Shall suggest improvements to their working practices and submit ideas as appropriate.

**Qualifications, Education and/or Experience**
- Electronics Trade Certificate or equivalent;
- Previous experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.

**Benefits & Working Conditions**
- Base salary of $55,000 -$60,000 per annum;
- All entitlements as per the National Employment Standards;
- No Shift Work;
- Standard Hours - Commencing 7:00am - 3:06pm;
- Occasional Overtime.

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
