**About the Role**

An exciting** Permanent part-time**opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, reliable and customer focused member to join our friendly team in the sterilising department at St Andrew’s Private Hospital.
- In this role you will:_
- Assist in the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment for both clinical departments and external customers.
- Work in conjunction with the Operating Theatre staff to provide timely sterile products, trays and equipment where applicable
- Work efficiently with your team to manage pressing deadlines
- Undertake some lifting and be able to be on your feet for the shift

You will be a critical part of the surgical process, your ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment will see you succeed.

**Key Skills and Experience**

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Certificate III qualification in Sterilising Services (Essential)
- Experienced CSSD technician.
- Previous experience in Endoscope reprocessing
- Your positive outlook will enable you to collaborate effectively with our team
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Strong knowledge of the principles behind AS 5369:2023
- Ability to work Monday and Fridays

**Remuneration**

**$29.70**+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
