**The opportunity**

Join Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) as the Integrated Logistic Support Manager (ILS) with a passion for finding solutions to influence and guide development of the Programs within the Battlespace Communication System (BCS) portfolio.

**Responsibilities**

The ILS Manager is responsible for the development and integration of the support approach and plans for the execution of sustainment programs. They will also be responsible for integrating and evaluating support elements to development program proposals, developing performance metrics and monitoring adherence to program plans and schedules. This role additionally involves the formulation and execution of business plans, policies, and procedures, as well as the development of organisational and technical strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities will include:

- Enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of product support, minimise downtime, reduce life cycle costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that the necessary support elements are in place to sustain the product's operational capability, address issues and changes, and meet the user's needs throughout its life cycle.
- Provision of accurate estimates for resourcing effort required for new work bids (including RFT responses and CES & S&Q tasks), regular forecast revisions and Estimate to Complete
- Develop and foster a positive team culture aligned to the BCS Enterprise.

**Desirable Experience/Qualifications**

To be successful you will have:

- Associate Diploma or equivalent technical qualifications in a relevant technical discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in the relevant technical discipline. Defence industry experience would be preferred.
- Previous experience coordinating and collaborating with multiple stakeholders including commonwealth customers, on technical issues.
- Experience interfacing with Australian Defence Force personnel.
- Experience in leading, managing and developing teams across multiple projects
- Experience in liaison and negotiation with multiple internal stakeholders and prioritisation of team tasking
- Demonstrated experience in driving the delivery of multiple outcomes on time and within budget.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen and hold, or have ability to obtain, an Australian Defence security clearance to Negative Vetting level 1
