Anz Operations Controller

**Job Description**:
**The Opportunity**
Due to an internal promotion, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and well-rounded Finance Operations Controller to join our ANZ Finance team.
In this role, you will see yourself in charge of Operations Controlling across Australia and New Zealand, Supply Chain and CAPEX control. You will guarantee that control principals are respected and implemented across the sub region as well as for month end close for ANZ.
**The responsibilities will include**:
- Monthly business reviews with financial and operational commentaries.
- Presenting the financial results to the operations team and the ANZ leadership team.
- Preparing and submitting reports to the FP&A team and maintaining BI dashboards to support the business reporting teams.
- Owning the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting needs covering all aspects of depot operations.
- Controlling and verifying the headcount and labour/ non labour costs by depot with details of deviations analysis and the planning scenarios.
- Preparing and consolidating the forecasting and budget costs from depot sources including strategic business planning of inventory and freight.
- Maintaining inventory control, stock evaluation, and control inventory levels by depot.
- Supporting the APAC Operations Controller, providing clear and detailed understandings of Operational expenditure from a volume, performance and economic perspective.
**The Requirements**
- A Bachelor's degree in Commerce Accounting
- 5 plus years experience in a Finance function preferably within an industrial environment.
- Possess the highest standards of accuracy and precision and be highly organised
- Have the ability to think creatively, be highly driven and self-motivated.
- A strong commitment to meeting tight deadlines, under a certain level of stress, being self-motivated and flexible to work after hours as necessary.
- Be able to successfully manage ambiguity and deliver on assignments with mínimal supervision.
- Have excellent financial modeling skills; forecasting and budgeting skills and cross-function collaboration skills.
