Delivering truly great service by approaching, helping, offering, and supplying guests with the information, product, and customer service required. Walking the casino floor on a continuous basis to react proactively on customer needs. Have the ability to always offer good service while staying positive. Works directly with all customers.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for providing superior guest service to new and existing casino/hotel guests.
- Greet customer in friendly, professional and welcoming manner, assuring that guests have a favorable gaming experience.
- He/ she must maintain a positive attitude, and assist with the execution of promotions, special events, and entertainment, as necessary.
- Serves as an ambassador for the property, and must have a high standard of integrity, and uphold the mission and objectives of the Hyatt Regency Casino.
- Serves as initial guest contact and key data entry clerk for Hyatt Regency Casino database information.
- Identifies and gathers information on valuable guests through observation, analysis, personal contact and service.
- Develops guest loyalty, relationships and supports direct marketing programs.
- Provide services to respond to guest requirements.
- Conducts informal surveys and queries.
- Safeguard company assets and securing the integrity of the game.
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- High school education and/ or experience as host department representative preferred.
- Excellent Guest Service skills
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Must have and maintain a professional appearance.
- Working knowledge and understanding of player tracking systems.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time to include entire shift.
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and new product lines.
- Able to work in a good gaming entertainment environment.
- Must have a valid certificate of good conduct to obtain a gaming license
- Must pass an audition with representatives of the Host and Marketing Department of the casino.
- Must pass and remain in compliance with Hyatt Regency Casino background check and drug free work place policies.
