This role is in the DroneShield Sydney headquarters in Pyrmont, Sydney. There are approximately 300 staff based in the 4,000sqm facility today, scheduled to grow to approximately 350 staff by end of 2026. Overseas on the ground presence includes Virginia (USA), Denmark, Germany and Dubai, as well as distributors in over 70 countries globally.

**About the role**

DroneShield is seeking a Warehouse Manager

This is a hands-on key leadership role that has been established to stabilise and future-proof DroneShield’s warehousing operations. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll lead a growing team of 8-12 staff across inbound, kitting & picking, packing & dispatch, whilst ensuring overall inventory control is maintained.

Currently located in Pyrmont, DroneShield is moving its warehousing operations to a dedicated 3,000 square metre facility in Alexandria, being fit-out to become a best-in-class warehouse & production facility. You’ll start your journey with us in Pyrmont and lead us into our new facility

**Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations**

Whilst leading your team, you’ll work cross-functionally with DroneShield’s Quality, Procurement and Manufacturing leaders to ensure that outbound operational milestones are met consistently and are tightly controlled.

**Qualifications, Experience and Skills**

We’re looking for an experienced leader with 5+ years of experience in direct Warehouse Management. If you’re a warehousing professional that understands the criticality of getting the basics right, we want to hear from you.

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Warehousing and Logistics are preferred and desired, but not essential.
