Principal Advisor

**The Opportunity**:
Are you an experienced Mining Engineer or experienced Production professional with a passion for driving holistic productivity improvement? If so, we have an amazing opportunity for a **Principal Advisor - Mining Operations **to be based in the **Hunter Valley, NSW** alongside a major mining house. This role will be largely based at the customer mine site (Monday to Friday roster) focused on identifying (through data and observation) and implementing productivity improvement projects across Komatsu equipment and technologies.

**Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Tertiary degree in Mining Engineering or related field or 10+ Years’ experience as a Production leader on site
- Have unquestionable integrity, and be an effective communicator
- A High level of experience with managing and implementing improvement projects
- Demonstrated success with influencing change and building/maintaining stakeholder relationships (soft skills)
- Results driven and regarded as a high performer with a bias towards overall team success
- Demonstrated ability to review and analyse data with a focus on process optimisation
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma/Lean, root cause analysis, etc) would be advantageous
- Current drivers licence - as regular travel to site is required
