Payroll Officer | Bells Creek | Part time

**Your new role**

In this customer-focused role, you will provide accurate, timely, and efficient payroll services to our client’s employees.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- End-to-end processing, ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
- Maintaining personnel file records, correspondence, and accurate records of all payroll-related activities in a confidential manner.
- Proficient preparation of payroll reports.
- Interpreting awards for both permanent and casual staff.
- Answering any payroll queries in a timely manner.
- Managing the payroll inbox.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated extensive payroll experience, along with a high level of numeracy skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- The ability to interpret awards and agreements, as well as knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements relevant to industrial instruments, superannuation, and taxation.
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced and multifaceted environment.
