Local Government Change Adviser

**Your new company**

This innovative local government team is looking for a Change Adviser for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This local government prides itself on its transformative environment that enables you to make a meaningful contribution through your work.

**Your new role**

This hands-on role will see you partnering with the ICT Project Management Office and various Project Managers to deliver end-to-end solutions and ensure stakeholders are prepared to receive change whilst understanding the benefits and impacts associated. The role will further focus on coordinating the entire suite of change activities in line with the City's Change Management Framework and Approach.
- Leading the development and delivery of all aspects of the change management strategy to implement technology projects.
- Fostering collaborative and mutually supportive relationships with all stakeholders to ensure maximum adoption rates.
- Participating in business readiness planning to ensure the city's employees and customers are prepared for change.
- Identifying opportunities, risks and mitigation strategies involved in change.
- Supporting the development and facilitation of learning and adoption, including development of training plans and materials.
- Providing regular and meaningful reports to the Change Lead and senior leaders on the delivery of change management plans within technology projects.
- Soliciting feedback from stakeholders to determine the success of change management activities and ensure that behavioural changes align with strategic objectives.
- Leveraging internal tools to develop engaging communication materials aligned to stakeholder communication and engagement requirements.
- Leveraging support structures such as Change Champions, HR, IT, Strategy and Performance and Marketing to cross-collaborate.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or significant work experience that could be equated to tertiary qualifications
- Demonstrated experience carrying out change management on an ERP implementation
- An active listener with the ability to analyse information and propose a strategic change of direction.
