Foundry Worker

DHDS is a leading engineering company with hundreds of customers and our own intellectual property. We are an integral part of the success of our customers in the engineering and the aluminium smelting industries. Due to continued growth domestically and internationally we are now looking for Foundry Worker / Factory Hand / Production Operators to commence immediately on day shift.

The role is to work as an integral part of a small team and run the foundry furnace. This is a key position that requires someone who is methodical, has excellent attention to detail and physically fit as manual lifting is required. Specific job training will be provided. The successful applicant will possess some or all of the following attributes:

- Experience in the foundry industry is beneficial
- Experience and or interest in working in a manufacturing / production environment
- Experience using a variety hand power tools and machines
- Forklift license
- Motivated and self-driven
- Physically fit and active for manual handling
- Able to work in a team environment and individually
- Focus on safety and commitment to OH&S principles
- Punctuality and Reliability are essential
- Own transport

We offer overtime and RDO’s every four weeks to provide 13 long weekends a year

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thomastown, VIC 3074: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
