**About the role**

WesTrac is seeking an experienced Analyst to join the Resource Industries Aftermarket team based at our Tomago Branch.

Reporting to the Resource Industries Aftermarket Manager, the Aftermarket Analyst is responsible for obtaining and analysing sales and marketing data to assist in determining aftermarket strategy and Caterpillar program effectiveness.

Furthermore, this role will provide analytical reports to key internal stakeholders that contain meaningful information to enable well informed decision making and in turn support the achievement of the Aftermarket strategic plan. The Aftermarket Analyst will also be responsible for defining project coordination requirements and making recommendations for proposed changes to process or strategy to ensure achievement of results.

Key Responsibilities
- Effectively analyse data to reach sound conclusions in relation to aftermarket strategy and Caterpillar program effectiveness
- Support key stakeholders in prioritising suggested changes for each business segment to ensure best results
- Generate easy-to-interpret reports based on collected data
- Use statistical methods to identify areas for operational improvement and make suggestions for streamlining processes
- Work with the leadership team to prioritise suggested changes to each business segment

**Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, economics, or related discipline
- Demonstrated analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal
- Highly developed attention to detail with the ability to analyse data and compile reports
- Advanced computer literacy skills - MS Office Suite and Power BI
- Excellence customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team
