Nanny/caregiver

**Our Family**:

- We are a large family with 6 kids, 3 of whom are grown up and have left home, 2 teenage boys 16 and 15yo who are fairly self sufficient, and our youngest is our 10 year old daughter. We also have a very lovable 7 year old labrador. We (Mum and Dad) both work. Dad is mostly in the office 5 days a week and Mum is partly at home and partly in the office. We are a loving, busy and active family. Miss 10 is intelligent and articulate, loves crafts and creative play/activities, plays the violin, swims squads once a week and plays soccer in the winter season.

**Your Duties**:

- We basically need another pair of hands to help with care for Miss 10 and to support her after school activities, and to help keeping our house running while we work. Miss 10 will need support with collection from school. after school activities out of the home, as well as homework and music practice and activities at home. We have cleaners so heavy cleaning is not required, but we would appreciate help with interim tidying and keeping things clean, some grocery shopping and meal preparation, folding laundry and the like.

**Our Perfect Caregiver**:

- Our ideal care giver is a person who is active and energetic, mature, confident and genuinely enjoys the company of children. They also understand how to be present with and support a child in the context of a busy household where there is always lots to do. They have a driver's licence and ideally a vehicle (but vehicle not essential). They are comfortable preparing nutritious family meals and don't mind attending to some light household duties if there is time to spare. They are comfortable with pets and not allergic to pet hair. They do not rely on screens to keep children occupied.
