About Kuraby State School
The school has wonderful facilities, including a modern administration/conference building, a large multi-purpose hall, community meeting room, whole class music room, expansive ovals for major sports, tennis/basketball court, adventure playgrounds and air-conditioned classrooms.
Kuraby State School was opened in 1928 and is situated within bushland surrounds. The school has beautifully landscaped grounds and well maintained sporting facilities.
About the Role
We are a small school located in the southern part of Brisabane. If you are a team player who enjoys working in a multi-cultural setting, this opportunity is for you. Applicants will demonstrate great communication skills, a high level of initiative and the ability to adapt to a range of roles throughout the day with an attention to detail.
This position is offered on a fixed term temporary part-time basis until 27/06/2025, unless otherwise determined.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Assisting in the supervision of education activities, under the direction of a teacher.
Assisting teaching staff with playground and bus supervision.
Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.
Displaying confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitively to students and their families.
Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate.
