**Your new company**
This government department has increased activity resulting in a need for more casual contractors. We are currently seeking Payroll Officers to commence immediately in ongoing casual roles.

**Your new role**
Working in a team environment, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Update and maintain Archive Registers.
- Provide effective administrative support to the Payroll Teams and work effectively as a member of a customer-focused team
- Filing - sorting payroll records and archiving
- Maintain accurate and complete records of business activities created and received in accordance with the State Records Act 1997 and policies and procedures
- This role requires a degree of lifting and bending to complete filing and archiving, making up archive boxes and labelling.

**What you'll need to succeed**
If you have worked in a contact centre or frontline customer service role combined with the below points, we are keen to speak with you
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service
- Quick learner and able to learn and use multiple software systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy

A current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain one quickly)
