Your Impact

As an Educator you will be a team player, collaborating with the Senior Educators and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and response to the needs of all children.

Goodstart Hendra is located in a residential area close to schools and shops as well as community amenities
We are an 84 place centre open from 7am-6pm
Our warm, friendly and professional team of educators strive to provide the highest quality care and learning experiences for the children through strong partnerships with our families
Our aim is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can build a sense of belonging. We believe in a play based learning environment that supports children to build connection with country and culture
Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces - with everything you would expect in a vibrant and activity based play area. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability - while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam
This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths - as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre

**You’ll need**:
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
Current QLD Working with Children Check
