**Your new role**

The primary responsibility of the role is to develop and implement an engagement strategy focused on high schools, colleges and TAFE campuses within a specified service area with an aim to:

- Support young carers to engage and remain engaged in education through early identification and intervention
- Support schools to effectively respond to and support the educational needs of young carers
- Promote the Young Carer Bursary and other initiatives and services to support young carers in schools

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following:

- Demonstrated previous experience in a similar schools or community engagement role
- Proven experience at efficiently planning and delivering activities that drive results
- Demonstrated engagement with individuals and community
