Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria (RBGV) employs over 240 staff overseeing two beautiful world-class gardens, Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne and Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne.

**What You'll Do**

As a casual Retail Sales Assistant, you will maximise revenue for RBGV through delivery of exceptional customer service at the RBGV's Shops. You will build relationships with customers to discover their needs, provide accurate product information and actively identify sales opportunities through upselling. You will maintain high-quality shop presentation, process sales using our POS system, replenish stock and maintain appropriate records. Your friendly and engaging personality will be essential in creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

**What You'll Bring**

Success in this role requires strong retail sales experience and customer selling skills, cash handling expertise, and familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems. A natural communicator, you enjoy building rapport with customers and colleagues. You take pride in your work, using your initiative to maintain a high level of presentation of the retail environment. You are now looking to bring your dedication and enthusiasm for customer service to this popular location, on an ongoing casual basis.
