**The Role**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Demand Planner to join the Planning Team at our Store Support Centre located in Derrimut.

The purpose of this position is to manage the investment in inventory for assigned categories, whilst keeping within stock budgets and open to buy. Additionally, to analyse product performance in store, looking for continual improvements in sales, stock turns and in stock position.

Other key responsibilities include:

- Ensure categories are achieving its commitments to in stock ratios
- Ensure integrity in the stock management processes
- Build, manage and analyse store stocks
- Maintain & manage stock replenishments process by category for all company and franchise stores processes (including monthly OTB & buying plans)
- Liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders, including Store Managers, Category Managers and Suppliers to ensure that all their requirements are met from an inventory management perspective
- Set up of new store orders and stock levels to make sure a smooth store opening
- Ensuring appropriate stocks are in stores for promotional campaigns, including for winter and summer catalogue range changes
- Manage the clearance process for each store by identifying issues and managing further action in store including outlet stores
- Ensure products are allocated correctly and new items are put on replenishment in a timely manner.
- Control inventory levels on items which will be exiting the store

**About You**

To be successful in the role you will:

- Approximately 2+ years’ experience in a similar retail role
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong financial acumen and numerical skills
- An understanding of relevant key performance indicators
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Sound computer skills, with an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel in particular)
