**Your role**

The Illawarra South Region is comprised of 5 hubs with 24 Courts.

The advertised role is for a Registrar of the Local Court. As a Court Registrar you will be responsible for ensuring delivery of high quality and professional administrative support to Judiciary and Courts, in addition to leading teams in the provision of high-quality service to clients and other stakeholders. This Registrar role is expected to work across a variety of jurisdictions within the court registry.

You will be expected to be able to build supportive and co-operative team environments, develop team capabilities and recognise performance issues and address appropriately.

**What you’ll do**

Leading the team, you will be responsible for:

- Managing, developing, and motivating staff in a fast paced and challenging court environment
- Supporting the wellbeing of staff
- Promoting a positive working environment that values ethical behaviour and good performance whilst meeting statutory and administrative obligations.
- Implementing procedures and training to ensure staff are adequately supported to ensure best practices and standards are provided to clients
- Work across a variety of court locations, building rapport with many different staff members
- Adapt to being in a variety of different places and roles in multiple court locations
- Constantly implementing processes and procedures which are always up to date with legislation
- Adapting to work in different court jurisdictions
