We are looking for a customer-driven Assistant Store Manager to join our **Blacktown** store. The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in all areas of people management and store management.

**Reporting to the Store Manager, you will**:

- Ensure the Customer Experience is #1 in all processes and decision making
- Making Harris Scarfe Blacktown a destination Store for employment and shopping alike
- Foster collaboration and FUN to drive Team results
- Meet Store and Company-wide KPIs
- Assisting with sales, wages, and shrinkage budgets
- Facilitating Stock-take process
- Provide timely guidance and feedback to develop your Team Members
- Foster a collaborative, fun and purposeful team environment.

**Must haves**:

- Available to work rotating weekend roster and Thursday nights
- Leadership and development training (highly desirable)
- Experience in Homewares and/or Apparel
- A commitment to workplace health and safety practices
- Strong visual merchandising standards and diligence
- Confident and clear communication skills
- Well-developed people skills and influencing sales skills.
- Strong mentoring and coaching abilities
- The ability to multitask and excel under pressure.
- Computer proficiency
- First Aid Qualified _(or be willing to be trained)_
