We are looking for a **Soccer Head Coach** to join our team

The Head Coach, Women’s A-League will be primarily responsible for delivering football training & coaching programs for, and ensuring the success of, the A-League Women’s Team of the Central Coast Mariners FC.

The Head Coach will also work in collaboration with the Mariner’s Men’s A League Head Coach and Technical Committee on player recruitment, Academy and player development strategies.

The Women’s A-League Head Coach will be responsible for the delivery of key coaching aspects of the Central Coast Mariners coaching operations. This includes, but is not limited to, performing the following duties:

- Establishing game plans, tactics, methods, formations, and strategies, including undertaking scouting research and analyzing prior games
- Organizing and scheduling trial sessions for prospective players, as well as identifying and evaluating potential players.
- Identifying individual player strengths, limitations, and talents, and incorporating them into games and strategy sessions
- Operational and administrative maintenance & planning of key football assets, including pitch availability, match day scheduling and co-ordinating third party expert consultants as required
- Organising and operating off-field team events to foster team morale and relationships
- Training and development of professional and amateur football players
- Overseeing and developing other coaching and football staff members
- Maintaining direct accountability for the performance and match results of the Women’s A-League Team
- Driving the expansion and quality improvement of the club’s Women’s program, including development of the technical football curriculum & coaching methodology
- Conducting coaching clinics and courses that promote the CCM style of play
- Coaching teams (and individual players) for both matches and training sessions throughout the season
- Work closely with the CEO to embed club culture, brand and strategy within the organisation and players

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years work experience in Youth and Senior Level
- Degree in Exercise Science or similar
