**The Company**
Robert Half has been engaged assist our client with hiring an experienced Manual Tester to join their growing software development team.
Please note this is a hybrid role and on-site attendance is required 2 days per week at their offices in Port Melbourne.
**The Role**
Reporting to the Software Development Manager you will be responsible for:
- Identify and document defects, bugs, and other issues found during testing
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that bugs are fixed in a timely manner
- Ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements
- Write test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Participate in team meetings and provide status updates on testing activities
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing technologies and methodologies
**Your Profile**
We are interested in applicants with experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in manual software testing
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and practices
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
