Civil Labourer

We are seeking an experienced **Civil Labourer / Pit Fitter** with a positive attitude for work around the Brisbane, Gold Coast and Northern NSW regions.

It is preferred that you are located within 15km of the Beenleigh office.

**About the role**:

- Working on the Telstra/NBN underground pit and pipe network.
- Rod & Roping
- Cable Hauling
- Pit Breakouts and ACM Removal
- Installation of telecommunication pits
- Onsite assessment of blockages and problems and Installation / repair of conduits
- Conducting thorough service location and underground asset identification
- Reading & interpreting plans
- Concrete/asphalt breakout and reinstatement
- Compliance with OH&S policies, procedures and legislations
- Some travel and away work may be required
- Mon - Fri and some weekend work may be required

**To be considered for this role you should have the following (*mandatory)**:

- Telstra Accredited Pit and Pipe (Pit Fitter)
- Asbestos Removal Certificate (Pit Fitter)
- enAble ID
- Construction White Card
- Valid Drivers Licence (Manual)*
- Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
- Work Rights in Australia
- Proven experience in pit installation*
- Good level of stamina and physical fitness*
- At least 1 contactable reference

This is a very physical role and hand digging and carrying heavy items and equipment will be a large part of this role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Subcontract

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
