**About Us**:
Plays Kool Floreat is a warm, community-focused early learning centre dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education and care. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced **Room Leader** to join our team and help shape young minds in a nurturing and engaging environment.

**Position Summary**:
As a Room Leader, you will lead the day-to-day operations of your room, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and learning. You will work closely with educators, families, and children to create a supportive and stimulating environment guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build strong and nurturing relationships with all children in your care
- Ensure compliance with National Law and Regulations, EYLF, and NQS
- Lead and collaborate with team members to provide exceptional education and care
- Maintain open and effective communication with staff and families
- Embed the centre’s philosophy into everyday practice
- Engage with families and carers in a consistent and meaningful manner
- Demonstrate professionalism and high personal presentation at all times
- Support and contribute to the development and implementation of centre policies
- Participate in monthly staff meetings and ongoing team collaboration
- Guide and support curriculum direction and planning
- Implement the planning cycle to improve educational programs
- Ensure children’s development aligns with learning outcomes in the EYLF
- Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment
- Liaise professionally with management when required
- Participate in individual and team professional development

**Key Competencies and Selection Criteria**:

- Professional, enthusiastic, and committed attitude
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- 3 years of relevant experience    
- Ability to establish and nurture positive relationships with staff, children and families through excellent communication skills. 
- A current First Aid certificate, WWCC, and Police Clearance (or the ability to obtain at onboarding)

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
