Nightclub Manager

Jekyll and Hyde is a 2 story Venue in the bustling Acland Street in St Kilda. The downstairs is a British inspired Tavern and the upstairs(Mr Hydes) is a nightclub that riuns till 3am in the mkornign and hosts an array of different events.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Night Club Manager to join our team. As the manager of the NightClub, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the club, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

*Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Club Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. *Planning and Supervision*: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the club, including bar, restaurant, and function services.

2. *Event Organization*: Plan, book, and supervise sporting, gaming, and entertainment activities.

3. *Security and Maintenance*: Manage security arrangements and property maintenance to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment for members and guests.

4. *Membership Management*: Arrange member subscriptions, manage membership databases, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

5. *Compliance and Risk Management*: Ensure the club operates in compliance with liquor, gaming, health, and other laws and regulations. Implement risk management strategies to minimize potential risks and liabilities.

6. *Communication and Marketing*: Compile and distribute newsletters, promotional materials, and other information to keep members informed about forthcoming events and facilities available.

7. *Staff Management*: Select, train, and supervise staff to ensure they provide excellent customer service and maintain the high standards of the club.

8. *Financial Management*: Manage the club's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

*Requirements:*
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma
- At least three years of relevant experience in a similar role as a night club manager or a role in a similar late night venue.
- Registration or licensing required
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
