We are currently seeking **Hospitality Workers** in both **Food Service Assistant** **roles** and **Domestic** **roles** at **Bethanie Illawong Aged Care Home** in **Hamilton Hill** to fill a variety of shifts on a casual or permanent part time basis.

**About the Role**:
The successful applicant will be multiskilled and willing to work in at least one of the roles listed below:
**Food Services Assistant/ Kitchen Hand**
- Ensuring facility areas are clean and safe, and all food hygiene standards are met, following responsible work practices of food preparation, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Assisting is preparation, portioning and serving of meals
- Maintaining all utensils, equipment, work benches and general surrounds in a clean and safe condition
- Removal of waste in a safe manner
- Deep cleaning as per requirements
- Collecting and washing pots, pans, crockery and cutlery
- Assisting in the preparation and portioning of meals
- Assisting with the setting up of dining rooms

**Domestic Assistant**
- Cleaning of furniture, bathrooms toilets & floors
- Dispose of waste products appropriately
- Maintain living areas in a clean, safe condition
- Ensure all personal laundry and linen is laundered correctly and ensure infection control practices are adhered to
- Plan duties to ensure service is delivered in the time allocated

**Requirements**:

- Possess a passion for, and previous experience in Hospitality role ideally in an aged care or similar environment
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A current police clearance, or willingness to get one
- Willingness to obtain any relevant vaccinations required
