Pay Rate: $40.00 per hour (Self-Employed Contractor)

We are seeking a committed and compassionate Educator to join a warm and welcoming family in Murwillumbah, NSW. This is a rare and rewarding long-term opportunity supporting two young children in a flexible home care setting.

About the Family:
Both parents are firefighters, working 17-hour shifts on a rotating roster, approximately every six days. This role is ideal for an Educator who is flexible, reliable, and comfortable working extended shifts in a nurturing home environment.

Children:

- Boy - 3 years old
- Girl - 1 year old

The family is supportive, organised, and deeply values the relationship and trust they place in their Educator. With mum returning to work in August, they are seeking a dedicated Educator to become a consistent presence in their children’s lives.

Shift Details:

- **Shift Length**: Approx. 17 hours (e.g. 5:00 AM - 10:00 PM)
- **Type**: Ongoing, long-term position
- **Flexibility Required**: Days will vary depending on the roster
- **Care Setting**: In the family’s home

**Prerequisites**:
Please ensure you have all the following prerequisites before applying:

- Certificate III in Children’s Services (ACECQA approved)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (in a childcare setting)
- WWCC
- Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
- Public Liability Insurance (once successfully placed)
- Medical Clearance
- Child Protection Certificate (refresher required every 2 years)
- ABN (this role is for a self-employed contractor)
- Photo ID
- PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this)
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Reliable car and driver’s license

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Police Clearance (preferred)
- ABN (preferred)
- Child Protection Refresher (preferred)
- Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care (required)
- HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting (required)
- HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (required)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
