Barista / Front of House - PartTime / Casual rAKa Café, Wallan

We’re looking for a confident and experienced Barista / Front of House team member to join rAKa Café - café in Wallan serving quality coffee, fresh food, and genuine hospitality.

If you know your way around a coffee machine and enjoy creating a warm experience for customers, this job’s for you.

Your Role:

- Prepare high-quality coffee and hot drinks consistently
- Take customer orders and handle payments efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organised front-of-house and coffee station
- Serve food and drinks with a friendly and professional attitude
- Handle dine-in, takeaway, and online orders smoothly
- Assist with opening and closing duties

What You’ll Need:

- Barista experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Strong understanding of coffee making, including dial-in and milk texturing
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional, clean presentation and punctuality
- Ability to multitask under pressure
- Positive attitude and a genuine team player
- Availability on weekends and early mornings

Job Details:

- Job Type: Casual
- Location: Melbourne, Victoria
- Hours: Day shifts and nights
- Pay: Award rates or above (based on experience)

Pay: $24.95 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
