Shift Fitter

**About The Role**:
We are looking for a driven **Shift Fitter** who can work collaboratively and be responsible for managing breakdowns, planned maintenance and improvement for the manufacturing and distribution site at **Rooty Hill**. You will have support and autonomy in a dynamic role with variety of work throughout your day and a wealth of knowledge from an experienced and safety focused team.

**Duties include;**
- Execution of preventative and predictive maintenance as well as attending to breakdowns if the need arises.
- Troubleshooting issues and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Providing feedback and keeping accurate records of completed work through maintenance management system
- Liaison with other trades in the workshop and external contractors
- Executing planned shutdowns and repairs
- Completion of all tasks to a high quality and with high regard to safety
- Hold relevant mechanical trade qualification and a background in Heavy Industry
- Experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Adaptable with exceptional fault finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to fabricate and weld to test standards
- Have a proactive approach, whilst holding safety and customer as core values
- Confident communicator who can work unsupervised and direct contractors on site
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong experience in Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Proficient computer skills and experience with SAP will be highly regarded
- Previous experience with shutdown activity
- Working at Heights and other safety certifications are desirable
