The role
Do you have a passion for language, literature, drama and performance? Are you enthusiastic about nurturing creativity and self-expression in young minds? We are seeking a talented and dynamic Drama Tutor to join our vibrant Performing Arts Department.
The Speech and Drama Tutor will plan, facilitate, and lead students in the areas of Speech, Drama and Communication skills across the College and will work with students at varied course levels. AMEB course and examinations are undertaken by the Speech and Drama students at Pymble.
This is a casual opportunity for up to 22 hours per week (approximately 3 days) and will work with our students both during and outside core school hours.

You will demonstrate the following attributes and capabilities:

- Energy, enthusiasm, and a real passion for Drama
- Previous experience teaching Speech and Drama in a Primary and Secondary School environment
- Suitable qualifications in AMEB or Trinity College London to teach students at various course levels of Speech and Drama
- Display a willingness to work productively and collaboratively as a member of a team
- Ability to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in the preparation of materials both hard copy and electronic
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office with an emphasis on Excel, Word and Outlook
- Willingness to adopt a flexible approach to work tasks and manage changing priorities
- Exceptional communication skills, including written and oral
- Enable the development of positive relationships based on respect and trust
- Willingness to support and promote the ethos and values of the College
