Role Description

As an apprentice mechanical fitter, you will work alongside experienced technicians and engineers to learn the ropes of mechanical fitting and machining. You will be involved in assembling, installing, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment used within our water and sewerage network infrastructure on Australian Navy Vessels ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. If you are interested in learning about pumps and making things work, have a knack for problem-solving and a desire to learn hands-on skills that will set you up for a successful career in the mechanical fitting industry. Hold a current motor vehicle driver lic.
