- SLR is seeking an experienced Resource Geologist to join our APAC Mining Advisory team. You will bring demonstrated skills and experience with geological resource modelling (experience with Leapfrog is a must), geological exploration, including geologic maps, exploration reports, and resource range analysis. In addition to strong technical skills, you’ll also have a solid background in the development of technical scopes of work, proposal preparation, and the successful delivery of projects, meeting high standards for quality and client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
This role offers significant long-term career rewards and opportunities for learning, expanding technical knowledge and career advancement. The day to day for this exciting opportunity will include:

- Development of geological models or interpretations
- Construction of block models for mineral resource estimates and mineral reserve evaluations
- Participation in the preparation of Reports (e.g. NI 43-101, JORC, Valmin, IFC etc.)
- Project management, including leadership of other geologists and third-party consulting groups
- Working with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geological findings and interpretations with those of other scientific, planning, and engineering disciplines
- Ensuring successful project delivery with respect to health & safety, scope, schedule, budget, QA/QC, and client satisfaction
- Prepare proposals and contribute to the development and execution of service line, business sector, and client business development plans
- Liaise and build relationships with clients and ensure excellent service delivery
- Mentor junior geologists and participate in internal and external training/mentorship opportunities

**Skills and experience**
- 5-10 years of experience in a similar geological role in the mining or environmental consulting industry
- Teritiary qualifications Undergraduate degree in the Geosciences
- Significant knowledge of Leapfrog geological modelling software
- Experience with 3D geological modelling, data analysis, and drill planning
- Knowledge of geostatistical mineral resource estimation fundamentals
- Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle required for travel to job sites/clients
