**About the Centre/Service**

Liberty Avenue Kindergarten has been in operation in Rowville for almost 30 years and now proudly offers both 3 and 4 yr old funded sessional kindergarten to our local community. We are a not for profit organisation and are owned and run by the community and the parent volunteers on our Committee of Management. We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced team member to join our workforce who comes with a strong work ethic and excellent references.

**Work Days of the Role**

Wednesday & Friday & 3hrs non contact time every second Thursday This is a 12 month temporary appointment with the prospect of extending to permanent part time if mutually agreeable and dependent upon ongoing enrolments and sustainability of the position.

**Hours of Work of the Role**

Wednesday 8am - 4.30 pm, Thursday (every second week) 9am - 12 noon, Friday 8am - 4.30pm

- What do you see as an Early Childhood Educator's role in a sessional kindergarten setting, with regards to documentation and planning
- What are your thoughts on risky play and how this can coexist with the Child Safe Standards
- How do you ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care? What can you tell us about your supervision style?
- What do you think are the key features, behaviours or attributes that help create a collaborative team approach in a kindergarten setting? What specific skills do you have that would be beneficial in creating such a collaborative team approach?
