**About the role**
BC Global are in search of an experienced Merchandiser to join their team. In this role you will facilitate the product development processes on behalf of clients and collaborate with both the technical and factory teams to ensure specifications are met and that the product is produced to the highest standard and delivered in a timely manner.
You will also report on production, delivery, and customer needs and at times be required to attend customer briefings, in person and interstate, hence flexibility to travel a couple of time per year may be required.
What’s exciting about this role is that it will provide lots of diversity and an opportunity to work with world class manufacturers, gaining an insight into mid-market retail and connection point to the industry.
**Skills & experience**
- Previous experience working within a fast-paced environment and similar merchandiser role;
- Previous experience within the fashion retail industry preferable;
- Proven track record dealing with overseas suppliers and shipping requirements;
- Ability to solve probelms as they arise, and manage competing tasks;
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal;
- High attention to detail, sense of urgency and great organisational skills.
