**About the role**

The **Warehouse Operator & Counter Sales (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)**role**is a** Full-time**position, based at **Regency Park, SA.** Reporting to **the Store Manager**you will **join our Gyprock Trade Centre**delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the store and warehouse.

In this role you will**:

- Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers in store and in the warehouse.
- Stock movements and the maintenance of stock.
- Loading trucks with customer orders for distribution and comply with safety requirements.
- Unloading inbound orders of stock.
- Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift, or manually as required.
- Ensuring documentation, labelling and presentation of product is adhered to.
- Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping.
- Contributes to achievement of store revenue and margin budgets.

Your hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.30am to 3.30pm.

- Forklift licence and proven experience are essential.
- Possess a strong work ethic.
- To be able to approach, connect and confidently interact with customers.
- An eagerness to learn about products and services.
- Must have excellent customer service & communication skills.
- Must be confident and well-presented when dealing with customers.
- Experience working in a fast paced and busy environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and deadlines.
