About the School
Currimundi Special School is a P-12 school located in the North Coast Region on the Sunshine Coast just north of Caloundra. The school enrolment zone incorporates a large catchment, from Maroochydore and Buderim in the north, to Caloundra and Pelican Waters in the south and as far west as the communities of Landsborough and Beerwah. Our school provides learning experiences that are highly adapted and individualised for students with complex educational needs in a safe, supportive and caring environment.
About the Role
As the Head of Department (Curriculum) you will have responsibility for leading the following activities:

- Commitment to develop and deliver highly effective curriculum for students with a disability.
- Strong focus on capacity building of all staff
- Development and maintenance of strong partnerships to support student outcomes.
- Passion to implement innovative teaching and learning practises to ensure that every student is engaged in learning.
- Deep knowledge of Australian Curriculum development with key focus on highly individualised curriculum planning.
- Ability to lead effective change across the school (Pedagogy, Australian Curriculum V9).
