**Position Overview**:
As a Boilermaker at Victorian Manufacturing Group, you will be responsible for fabricating structural steel components that meet our exacting standards. You will work alongside a team of experienced professionals who are passionate about their craft and are dedicated to producing top-tier results.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Interpret engineering drawings and plans to fabricate steel components.
- Measure, cut, shape, and weld steel to precise specifications.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and machinery.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of fabricated components.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Boilermaker or Structural Steel Fabricator.
- Strong welding skills and the ability to work with various steel types.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Safety-conscious and familiar with relevant workplace safety procedures.
- Welding certifications or qualifications (preferred but not mandatory).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Welding: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Truck licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

**Location**:

- Melbourne, VIC (preferred)
