**The Opportunity**
- An opportunity now exists for a reliable Weekend Concierge / Guest Services Agent who will be an efficient and personable interface for all Visitors, Students and Staff at the Melbourne Business School (MBS). In this role, you will help deliver exceptional guest services such as greeting and assisting clients, manning the phone, booking meeting rooms and accommodation, managing check-ins/out within the hotel system and other customer service and general reception duties.
- During certain periods this role will also have a specific focus on enhancing the classroom and teaching experience, ensuring classrooms are ready and fit for purpose.

**Indicative hours on Saturday and Sunday**:
Day Shift: 6.00 am - 1.00 pm

Afternoon Shift: 12.00 pm - 7.00 pm

The Weekend Concierge will have a set number of ordinary hours that will result in them working one of the above-listed shifts on both Saturday and Sunday.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Provide prompt and accurate information to hotel guests, utilizing in-depth knowledge of local amenities
- Provide prompt and efficient check-in and check-out of residential guests
- End-of-day cash reconciliation and management
- Conduct general office duties including mail, dry cleaning, banking, couriers, taxis etc.
- Ensure catering, cleaning and facilities team receive up-to-date and accurate information

**Experience or knowledge of the following systems is preferred but not essential**
- POS - direct sales
- iVvy Venue Management System
- Office RnD
- Access card software including Salto
- RMS 9 Booking system
- Core
- Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook

**About you**

You’ll be an experienced and proactive professional with a passion for exceptional guest service.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- Demonstrated experience working in a customer service or concierge role
- Office administration and professional services experience
- Trained First Aid Officer
- Clear and concise communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, and proven capacity to work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Ability to ensure that all documentation, information, and data are managed in systems that are functional, confidential and meet organisational and business requirements
- Ability to work across 600-1900 weekends
- Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work well both autonomously and as a team player
