We seek an individual to undertake the role of**_ Our Choice Leader _**for our group program with our Bendigo Office.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing NDIS registered disability support provider with more than 30 years of experience providing community, social, recreational, advocacy and home support to people living with a disability.

The **_Our Choice Leader_** responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Within the context of a team management environment, the Our Choice Leader has responsibility for a range of functions associated with providing supervision of employees, volunteers and Participants to administrative and general support to the Our Choice Group;
- Exercise responsibility for the Our Choice group including planning, coordination and administrative tasks of the Our Choice Group;
- Provide community based, Participant directed facilitation and support, which may include personal care tasks. Individual privacy and dignity will be maintained at all times;
- Liaise with external organisations to determine availability for activities and book;
- To ensure that Participants are central in-service planning, provision and decision-making in accordance with their Individual Plan by empowering clients to access local community facilities, groups and networks;
- To ensure the health and safety of employees, volunteers and participants at all times;
- To attend relevant training and meetings as required;
- Network to increase the profile of the Our Choice Program with a view to increasing participation;
- Other duties as required.

The successful applicant will demonstrate excellence in ability to relate positively to a wide range of people, write reports, be creative and problem solve in community based recreational pursuits, supervise and take direction, and work without direct supervision, whilst maintaining a high standard of service.

Remuneration will commence at Level 3 under the SACs Award plus salary packaging (as per PBI status).
