**Job description**

**Right at Home Sydney Parramatta **are seeking qualified, reliable and passionate **Personal Care Workers** to join our team in the Sydney Parramatta Region spanning across from Parramatta to Bonnyrigg. You will need to be friendly, positive, and determined to make a difference. You can demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy, and treating others with dignity and respect. You’ll be a natural relationship builder, honest, helpful, and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Working within a person-centered, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties
- Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship, and support
- Providing support with social and recreational activities
- Preparing food, feeding clients, and assisting clients with medications
- Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client
- Responding to emergency situations
- Working weekend and overnight shifts as rostered

**Selection Criteria**:

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability) or equivalent (required)
- Current National Police Check (required)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates (required)
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence and your own well

- Comprehensive car insurance
- Covid-19 vaccination certificate
- Working With Children Check (Optional)

**Prefer Skills**:

- Experience working with aged and persons with a disability.
- carrying nature

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $34.86 - $36.89 per hour
