They are looking for a hard-working and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join their supportive team in a permanent capacity. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy yet supportive team where everyone helps each other with the motto "no job is too big or small". **Your new role** Reporting to the CFO and Senior Bookkeeper, your duties will include: - Assisting with end-of-month procedures - Assisting with monthly balance sheet reconciliations - Check the coding of creditors' invoices and journals - Payment of creditors accounts - Checking supplier invoices, - Controlling release of payments to creditors - Ensuring all journals are posted to the correct company general ledgers. - General office duties - Creating purchase orders in the purchase system - Maintaining various registers, including an asset register - Maintaining an electronic filing system - Other duties as directed by CFO. - Other tasks /analysis /business improvement tasks as required. **What you'll need to succeed** - Previous Experience in a high volume Accounts Payable position - Experience using SAP - Self-motivated & time management skills - Highly organised and committed to meeting deadlines - Strong Attention to Detail - Proficient in the Microsoft Suite **What you'll get in return** You will receive the exciting opportunity to be part of an amazing team of talented individuals, and the chance to work in an office environment with a fantastic family feel. **What you need to do now** If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career. 2826558
