**About the opportunity**

Step into a vital role within Forensic Medicine Sydney where your expertise in case coordination or administrative support can make a tangible difference. As a Case Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of the Rural Triage Centre, managing and preparing complex medicolegal case information that supports the coronial process. You will also be part of a small team that conducts financial means assessment for NSW Health to support the funeral without funds process. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team and liaise with key external partners including NSW Police, healthcare providers, Funeral Directors and legal entities to ensure every case is informed, accurate, and aligned with required legislative frameworks.

**What you'll be doing**

To provide high-quality case management information and triage system support to the Rural Triage Centre and across Forensic Medicine Sydney, through the gathering and preparation of complex medicolegal information for the facilitation and coordination of cases reportable to the Coroner.
- Demonstrated experience in providing high-level support to management and/or clinicians in the coordination of critical administration workflow.
- Proven capacity to exercise sound judgement and problem solving in a large complex environment demanding confidentiality, discretion, and sensitivity.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a workload to meet deadlines in a complex work environment with mínimal supervision.
- High-level communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with multidisciplinary staff and key stakeholders to achieve results.
- Ability to develop guidelines or procedures relevant to the triaging environment for use by staff.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in an environment that could be distressing, ensuring to raise any associated concerns and/or need for support, and adopt self-care strategies.
- Demonstrated capacity to adopt and model the NSWHP RITE values of Respect, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence.
