**About the Role**
Primary responsibilities include:

- Ensure the activities of the School are operated effectively and efficiently and provide a quality service to the students and staff.
- Producing research and scholarship that informs learning and teaching, and curriculum innovation and development.
- Provide administrative support to the Head of School and other academic staff
- Provision of field education liaison duties to students undertaking their practicum placement and experience.

**Selection Criteria**

Qualifications and Professional Standing:

- Hold a Master/PhD qualification in relevant Social Work discipline.
- Lecturing and teaching experience (3+ years).

Essential:

- Committed Christian, involved in a local congregation.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching at a tertiary level, learning, scholarship and research, including curriculum development and modification.
- An understanding of current and emerging trends in Social Work Education and training.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students; ability to communicate and work effectively and cooperatively with colleagues.
- Technological literacy and experience in developing online communication tools and previous experience in online education is desirable.
- Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to diversity and ability to work with students, staff, and administrators, including pastoral skills in mentoring staff and supporting students.
