About the Opportunity:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with daily shift-start meetings and work with other team leads to resolve day to day problems
- use communication systems
- Lead a work team
- implement and monitor warehouse work, health and safety procedures
- Complete tasks as assigned by the warehouse manager
- Train and cross-train, current and new employees, in in-house order management software, equipment utilisations and various job functions
- ensure the safety of transport activities (chain of responsibility)
- Shift materials safely using manual handling methods
- conduct specialised fork lift operations
- Manage inventory, ensuring adequate raw materials are available as required
- manage and complete receival and despatch documentation
- Load and unload goods/cargo
- Ensure cleanliness of warehouse and all equipment in good working order
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills**:

- Proficient with warehouse procedures
- proficient with warehouse Work Health and Safety protocols
- Good computer skills
- able to prioritise tasks and strong time management skills
- Excellent communicator and team builder, with calm leadership nature
- Organized, punctual, efficient
- Able to perform physical tasks as needed, including assisting with loading and unloading

**Requirements**:

- Certificate 3 in Supply Chain Operations
- Three to five years of related warehouse experience
- RFID experience
- forklift licence essential
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 15kgs unassisted
- ability to learn and utilise inhouse warehouse software

Preferred
- iAuditor experience
- Microsoft office (Excel, Outlook)
- Previous experience as team lead preferred;
- Work overtime as assigned.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $27.66 per hour
