We are seeking a hard-working and vibrant restaurant supervisor to provide support to our Venue Manager and the team at our Green Hills restaurant. We are seeking an individual who has a passion for leadership, consistency, teamwork and producing great quality products
You will be responsible for assisting in efficiently and effectively controlling all operations across the venue, including running the restaurant and bar.
Supporting the Venue Manager and Assistant Venue Manager by opening and closing the venue and supporting the team in their development and training.
Main Duties and Tasks
Supervision, training and coordination of food and beverage employees
Preparing displays and presenting stock, including special
Organising the cleaning bar areas, glasses and equipment
Preparing and mixing a range of drinks
Taking reservations, greeting and seating guest
Maintain stock control
Practising proper workplace health and safety procedures
Communicate effectively with customers and fellow staff
Monitoring staff rosters, performance and resolving any grievance
Respond to customer requests in a professional and timely manner
Ensure that work area complies with the highest standards of cleanliness
Ensure that customers are served in a professional and diligent manner
What you need
Demonstrated experience managing people in addition to growing sales, managing costs, and delivering outstanding service in a high volume fast-paced environment.
Proven management experience with outstanding leadership. capability and customer service focus.
Qualifications in Hospitality (desirable - not essential)
Can-do attitude with the ability to act efficiently and resiliently.
Passion for creating a supportive and motivating team culture.
Ability to work productively during busy periods including weeknights and weekends.
RSA Certificate
Management Card (or willing to obtain)
