**Skills & Experience**
- Minimum 3 year in mechanical or automotive accessory role

**Function**

To manage the fitment of aftermarket accessories to a range of vehicles both individually and by leading a team.

Specific Responsibilities
- Fit a range of aftermarket accessories to vehicles.
- Ensure 100% compliance and adherence to fitting instructions by all in workshop
- Work to ensure that customers vehicles leave the workshop in a showroom condition with a professional accessory installation
- Ensure all bolts are marked once tight
- Maintain a drivers licence (Valid in Australia) and adhere to all traffic regulations.
- To follow all details on job cards.
- To immediately notify management of any vehicle or product issues
- To immediately notify management of any vehicle damage
- Work proactively with the Sales Manager, Store Manager and the rest of the team to solve problems, so as to produce the best outcome for the customer.
- Work to meet MEP (minimum expected performance) fitting targets of team and workshop(s) as a whole.
- Lead the team in a positive way so as to build a “can-do” culture within the workplace
- QC all work that comes out of workshop(s) under the prevue of the position
- Ensure correction of all errors, whether current or potential, before the vehicle is released to the customer
- Manager the bookings Calendar to ensure there is enough work on each day to keep all fitting staff busy and the workshop(s) as profitable as possible
- Check all upcoming job cards to make sure incoming parts are correct for the vehicle / job before the vehicle arrives
- Work with Sales People / Management to correct the above as needed
- Assist the Sales team with diagnosis of customers vehicle issues
- Assist the Sales team by providing recommendations as to where/what parts are fitted to vehicles to suit customers needs
- Assist in the loading / unloading of stock
- Ensure the workshop(s) are kept clean and tidy by instilling a sense of pride in the workshop team

**Customer Service**
- Treat all customers with respect.
- Assist the Sales team with technical questions, researching if needed.
- Make sure vehicles are clean when they leave the workshop (Including no left over swarf or fingerprints)
- Ensure all accessories are working before bringing a vehicle out of the workshop. Ie Lights, Radios, electric components by way of QC

- Handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
- Assist all staff in solving problems by utilising active listening skills and offering practical solutions

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
