We have an exciting opportunity where you will deliver engaging, high quality training and development programs to support Warrigal care staff. This position will be part of the new Clinical Education team.
Warrigal is a 24/7 Aged Care Service Provider and the Workplace Trainer must be able to work outside of standard hours as needed to train across shifts.
This position can be based either in Queanbeyan or Goulburn. You will provide services to the Warrigal locations in Queanbeyan, Goulburn and in the ACT, at Calwell and Stirling
**To be successful you will need**:

- Experience working in health or aged care, with minimum Certificate III Individual Support (or equivalent).
- Certificate IV Training & Assessment or willingness to obtain.
- Demonstrated experience in training and development, coaching and/or mentoring.
- Ability to conduct and present engaging training sessions to a culturally diverse and multi-disciplined workforce.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of competency-based assessments related to care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to show patience and empathy.
- Well-developed organisational and planning skills with the ability to meet work priorities within expected timeframes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and maintain flexibility in approach.
- Current NSW/ACT driver’s license and willingness to travel to Warrigal locations as required.
