
Female Support Worker

We are currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Female Support Workers to join our team to service a range of clients in the Gippsland Area. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing essential assistance, care and support to individuals in need. Your primary responsibility is to assist clients in various activities of daily living, fostering their independence and enhancing their overall wellbeing.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting.
- Assist with meal preparation
- Support clients in maintaining a clean and safe living environment
- Engage in meaningful conversations and activities with clients to promote social interaction
- Accompany clients to appointments, recreation activities and community outings
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules, ensuring proper documentation
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional wellbeing.
- Collaborate with family members, healthcare professionals and team members to provide best practice care.
**Requirements**:
To be successful in the role, you will require the following:
- Female identity preferred.
- Availability for Morning, Afternoon and Night shifts. As well as working shorter duration of shifts.
- Experience in aged care.
- Previous experience in a similar support worker role or related field is preferred.
- Drivers licence and access to an insured, registered vehicle.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
