English Tutor

We're looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable English Tutor to join our dedicated team and contribute to our story of success.

**What you'll do**
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging English tutoring sessions for primary and high school students, up to the HSC level.
- Tutor students in one-on-one or small group settings.
- Assist students with curriculum content, including essay writing, text analysis, creative writing, and exam preparation.
- Provide constructive, timely feedback on student work to help them improve.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated academic excellence in English, with a mark of 90+ in HSC English Advanced or English Extension 1.
- Currently hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Availability to start in Term 4 (from October 13th) and commit to a minimum of 2 hours per week.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - you can explain complex ideas simply.
- A genuine passion for the English language and for helping students succeed.

**Preferred, but not mandatory**
- At least 1 year of previous tutoring or teaching experience.
- Currently undertaking a university degree in Education, Arts, Law, or a related field.
- Familiarity with the current NSW Primary and High School English syllabus.
